Cross Flow Technology

The term Cross Flow Technology refers to a particularly effective and low-wear shredding principle that makes use of flexible and robust beating elements. Other than conventional shredding processes, the mechanical treatment of the input material by means of the Cross Flow technology happens mainly as the particles impact one another during the process and not as the beating tools strike or cut the material. This principle ensures that the material is optimally disintegrated which provides the basis for a maximum sorting accuracy and the recovery of clean resource fraction.

At the same time, our shredding devices are incredibly resistant to impurities and foreign objects due to this shredding principle and the robust design of the beating tools. This means extraneous materials neither affect the durability of the shredding tools nor do they have a negative impact on the operation and performance of the machine. Our machines are equipped with separate discharge gates which enable the extraneous material to be released separately.
