Drum Screen
The drum screen machine serves to divide the entire material stream into several smaller streams which will subsequently be separated according to material type. Inside the machine the material such as light packaging, plastics, cardboard and paper as well as commercial and construction waste are classified according to size.
The technology at a glance:
- material separation happens by means of a horizontal drum body that is equipped with screens and that rotates on its own axis
- size and shape of screen perforation can be flexibly adjusted according to a specific application
- replacement screens, wrapping protection if required
